We have made the decision to cancel sports day tomorrow, as we have checked the ground this morning and it is too soft to be able to run or sit on.
The decision has been made early to give people the chance to make alternative arrangements, as when the decision is made on the day it causes more inconvenience.
We are sorry this has caused some upset but we have a duty of care to the health and safety to the children in the school,
Children need to wear school uniform as usual tomorrow and please can the children come with a picnic lunch as planned, as they will still have their picnic at lunchtime. Due to the space available this will be for children only.
We have a list of those who ordered a picnic packed lunch through the school if you would like to ring and check.
