The first two years of a child’s life are the most crucial in the development of their mind, body and spirit.  So much is now known about how the brain develops and how critical interactions with adults and experiences within the first few year's impact on the rest of your children’s lives.

Our Snowdrop’s (0-2yrs) room provides the ideal environment for our youngest children to explore and flourish.

We provide a tactile learning environment with lots to explore and investigate. Our dedicated Snowdrop’s staff work solely in this room and this allows for consistency of care and support.  It enables the staff to form strong relationships with the children, which in turn supports them to feel confident and secure in the nursery environment.

The adult-child ratio is 1-3 and the maximum number of children we have within the room is nine. This ensures quality and care in the environment where they can develop from ‘tummy time’ to ‘a confident walker ‘– ‘first sounds’ to ‘forming sentences.

We love sharing stories, songs and rhymes with the children and letting them experience the joy of sound and rhythm.

Each child has a key person who will support and track your child’s progress and then work alongside you to decide on the next steps of support that your child needs to progress in their development.

The Snowdrops room has its own outdoor provision and provides a safe enabling environment to be active and explore. We have an adjoining cot room, which means the children can rest with the staff only a few steps away.
