The School is very fortunate to have a very active and enthusiastic PTFA, which give very valuable support to the work of the school. The PTFA principally raise funds to assist the school to pay for items, facilities and equipment that are not automatically provided by the Local Education Authority budget.

The PTFA Committee is elected annually in January at the AGM and is responsible for organising a programme of events throughout the year. Some of these being social, some fund raising and some educational. The group also supports the school with activities such as providing refreshments at family events such as sports day and forming work parties to improve the school grounds.

Our main annual fund raising event is the Christmas Fiesta. Other successful events have been discos, sponsored swim, and cake sales. The vital fundraising efforts of the PTFA rely on the generous support of local people and businesses. Thank you to everyone who has supported our events.

The PTFA are always looking for new ideas and volunteers to help out at events. All parents and carers are warmly invited to come to any of the PTFA meetings which are generally held monthly after school.
